A Quick and Healthy Snack for You and Your Family

Below is a simple and healthy Kale Krisp Recipe for you and your family to enjoy. Makes a great after school and in-between meal snack. For a slide show of the pictures shown below, cut the code below and paste in your window.

Set Oven to 350@

Cut the stems from the Kale.

You can use the stems when making vegetable stock.

Cut

Cut the Kale leaves 2" wide.

Wash & Dry Thoroughly

Be sure to wash and dry the Kale leaves thoroughly.

Line and Spray

Line a baking pan with aluminum foil and spray with olive oil.

Arrange Kale Leaves

Arrange Kale leaves on the foil paper. Be sure that you do not place one leaf on top of the other.

Spray with Olive Oil

Spray a fine mist of olive oil over the tops of the Kale leaves.

Sprinkle Cheese

At this stage you can sprinkle on your favorite cheese or soy product.

If desired, you can also add salt and pepper, or any other spices that you enjoy. 

Bake in Oven

Bake Kale leaves in the oven for at least 10 minutes.

Take out the pan, turn over the Kale leaves and bake for another 5-10 minutes.

Check often until Kale is at stage where it is crisp to bite but not burnt. 

Serve It Up!!!

Serve up your Kale leaves in a nice bowl and set out for the family to eat, or for you to munch on, while you are preparing the meal for dinner.

Kale is chock full of vitamins and minerals.
